Free PDF Editors: 7 of the Best

You may have discovered that free PDF editors are hard to come by if you've ever wanted to edit a PDF. Fortunately, you can use web tools to alter the document without having to pay for software.

I'll go over seven different PDF editors in this article that will let you modify at least a few of the files for free. I examined each website by altering a PDF to ensure that it is free to use and to see what features it offers (for free or at a charge).

Where To Find a Free PDF Editor

The world has seen a stronger movement toward technology in the last several years than it has ever seen before. Because so many of us now work and study from home, digital file formats like PDFs are swiftly replacing paper papers as the preferred format.

While PDFs are secure and convenient to use, editing them can be difficult. Thankfully, a few free PDF editors make basic adjustments like turning a page and signing a document simple. Some free PDF editors even allow you to perform more advanced adjustments, such as file type conversions and text finding and replacement.

Whatever adjustments you need to make to a document, one of these seven free PDF editors will almost certainly have the proper tool for you:

Sejda is a terrific free PDF editor to check out whether you're working online or offline. You can upload PDFs up to 200 pages (or 50MB) to edit online or download the desktop version of Sejda for free.

I utilized the free online editor to upload and modify a PDF when I first checked out Sejda. The ability to choose and alter text immediately on the PDF was the first thing I noticed. I could use the document to highlight, bold, underline, remove, and add words, characters, and links. Sejda also includes facilities for completing forms, uploading photographs, establishing digital signatures, annotating documents, and more. There was even a "find and replace" tool that allowed me to search the PDF's text.

In addition to the free PDF editor, Sejda offers a number of other free tools that can help you modify a PDF in a variety of ways. Sejda offers free services for merging, splitting, compressing, securing, and converting PDF files. Simply select "All Tools" from the drop-down menu next to the company's emblem in the top-left corner.

ProsCons
– You can choose to work online or offline for free with Sejda.
